Empire Contracting, (Sea Ranch contractor)  is very proud of this bluff top home. This new home is situated between two existing homes, and the owners wanted the design based on outdoor living. A lot of thought and effort went into designing the home in such a way that the owners could spend time in outside spaces, while safeguarding their privacy, and that of their neighbors.

Comprehensive Interior Remodel of Sea Ranch Bluff Home

A Look Back At An Empire Contracting Custom Home Project

Empire Contracting, Inc. constructed this precisely designed and executed home for David and Anne, who became good friends during the construction period. The home was designed by Sara Warshaw, Warshaw Architect of Manhattan Beach CA, and even though this being her first project at The Sea Ranch, this home could not be more in keeping with the local architecture. Lisa Scott provided Construction Oversight, and her expertise in Sea Ranch detailing was invaluable.

New Construction: New Solar Home on The Sea Ranch

Architect Alex Bergtraun, of Berkeley, has taken a fresh approach to traditional Sea Ranch Architecture, mixing time tested materials such as Cedar Siding, with an exciting new one, Cor-Ten Steel. The corrugated metal roof is appointed with both Photovoltaic and Solar Hot Water Panels, which provide much of the energy needed to operate the home. Sea Ranch Remodel: Historic Sea Ranch Condo

Complete Interior Remodel of a classic Condo Unit. Gayle Forster provided an inspired design for the interior of this Condo, working closely with the Owners to fully develop their vision. The new focal point of the home is a decorative wood and steel wall element, creating a visual separation between the Kitchen and Living Room. Whole House Remodel on The Sea Ranch

The interior of this North End home was in definite need of a refresh, with a dated and awkward kitchen, pink mexican clay tile throughout, and bathrooms that were really showing their age.  Jeni Gamble, Gamble IAD, took an entirely new tack with this project, and the transformation is impressive.
